This is a short video clip of a song I wrote with a modern day Merle Haggard feel to it. I wrote it about growing up with my Louisiana and Arkansas cousins, and the photos are from my families photo albums. I feel sorry for the current generation who have all their pictures on their phones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tCUcKF9Qbs

Hi Marvin:
Funny you should "tack this one up for us to hear" as I'm doing my best to digitize meaningful old family photos that are just about to "give up the Ghost" due to age and mis-handling. I faintly remember this song you posted in the recent past. Thanks for sharing. Sure brings back lots of memories of my early days in Texarkana.
Happy New Year,
----Dave

Thanks Dave! My grandparents had a small farm outside of Rodessa, Louisiana, and I loved spending time there. I can remember helping grandpa load a cow into the bed of his old pickup and we would head to the sale barn in Texarkana. Great times and great memories!

What a lovely vignette of childhood memories. Nice one! It would be nice to hear the other half of the song though.. Quality tune Paul

Hey Niteshift,
I appreciate you listening and the great comments. I pray the fires in Australia are not detrimental to you or any of your family pal.
Thanks again, Marvin
