A real love song. [color:#3333FF]ANOTHER CURVE the front door screams behind her a huffy last goodbye supper sits half finished it was a pretty good exit cry but true final farewells are quiet, with no act i know the way her fever flows i know that she'll be back sometimes she doesn't give me a chance somtimes i don't give a damn these days we're given to arguing using anything we can you-don't-love-me accusations "that's right" throws in the salt go for the heart and don't let loose i'll last-word you for the fault sometimes i wish she'd really leave i pray to god she'll stay give your enemy an apology give your lover another day i can't be all she wants i might be more than she deserve every time i think it's straightened out she throws me another curve she throws me another curve she throws me another curve Thanks for listening. Comments encouraged. Have at it... floyd

What a tremendous song, Floyd. Loved every line. Simple piano backing with a soft violin in the background... added to the eloquence and storyline. Yep, life and love as it happens when we are young and our chromosomes are still trading places with our corpuscles! Take another bow, my talented friend. ----Dave

I can almost hear a Neil Diamond/Billy Joel influence on this good tune. Good stuff as usual, nice work Floyd.

Now that's a something a little different, Floyd, but very cool nonetheless. I love that second verse, particularly this line, "you-don't-love-me accusations, "that's right" throws in the salt". Good stuff! -TK

A real love song." that alone made me pay attention right off..
Hi Floyd, you don`t know how close this write has hit, I can relate to almost every line in this. one day I we stopped holding hands, the next day that was easier, one night I stopped going to the bed, the next day that was easier. that space got wider and wider,,ond day I pushed back from the table.."i`m done" She didn`t say a word..sorry for blabb`n I really can relate. sometimes i wish she'd really leave "i pray to god she'll stay give your enemy an apology give your lover another day i can't be all she wants i might be more than she deserve"
that is so impressive to me Floyd. good work. Lane

FLOYD--
WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
EVERYTHING......OR NOTHING......GIVE AND TAKE.....UP AND DOWN...SOMETIMES EVEN SIDEWAYS...
WHAT WE CALL LOVE, IS LIKE THAT...YOU GIVE IT AWAY AND KEEP IT AT THE SAME TIME.
EVEN THROUGH HARD TIMES YOU'RE HOOKED--I GUESS THE CURVE KEEPS BRINGING IT ALL BACK--IT JUST WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT!
'TIS A FINE WORK OF ART, IT IS! THANKS FOR THIS SONG.....

Floyd, You're singing this song like you believe every word. And it's convincing. It's a sad situation that you describe, one that's played out millions of times all over the world. The song reminds me of a Broadway Showstopper. It could work well on the stage.

Floyd,
I echo what everyone else has said. A brutal, heartbreaking slice of realism, with the perfect setting and a tremendous vocal.
