Original music by Bill White I sincerely thank everyone for your comments I always learn something from everyone. I am adding the lyrics, great comment! I also agree a one minute intro is a lot to wait through, especially for a four minute song. The song is mostly an instrumental with sound effects. My intended goal was to see if I could simulate a live performance in my studio, guess I have been listening to too much Pink Floyd. Thanks a bunch ! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I'll Be On My Way by Bill White Waiting for the time Not sure what to say Everything is signed I'll be on my way Very soon you will see The dreams wraped up in me Traveling down the road Far away from home

You should post the lyrics for your songs. A one minute intro is a lot to wait through, especially for a four minute song.

Bill, welcome to the board!! I agree the intro is long but I think it's OK if you are going with that "live" feel. The music is really good so if you condensed this into a 2:30/3:00 minute studio version, i think you have something special here!! Again, welcome!! :)))) scotty

Welcome to JPF, Bill. Glad you're here with us.
Yeah, the intro is really long and you could lose your listeners early as a result. For a live performance, I guess it would be ok but just listening it got tedious. The music itself was cool but with little lyrical content to latch onto, more like a musical interlude. Love the production quality. Top shelf stuff.
Just a couple of pointers to get more listens and comments.... Do post the lyrics and be sure to review and comment on other people's songs. They will reciprocate. Those who don't participate in other people's work lose participation from others on their songs. Just a couple of pointers like I said.
Anyway, welcome once more. I look forward to hearing more from you and getting to know you.
Stevie

I like the long intro, but maybe that's just me in Dire straits mode. It has that live sound to it. Keep at it. This stuff has a following. Vic
