A truly FINE Demo/Great Singing/Excellent Lyrics (tho I'll aug shedding the "I Guess" bit & just holler "Yeah.."--
One Detail kinda bugged me, until I researched it: The signature Guitar Riff I'd heard Somewhere-Before...
Turns out, it's from the Doobie Bros' "Long Train Runnin'"..(The one about "Without Love, Where Would You Be Now"...)
