I enjoyed the song very much!
Somehow the lyrics gets kind of vague with the "Some", but I guess thats the point. By doing that it eludes a big lyrical payoff, I think (because the 'some' IS the point), and that turns the song into a piece which calls for a musical treatment creating a pleasant listening environment.
Personally, I wasn't as fond of this lyric like some of the recent ones you've presented, for the reasons I mentioned.
I think you did a really great job of creating a nice mood for this, Mike. All of the instrumental hooks, and the instrumental development throughout, is really doing an excellent job to create interest and variation to draw me in as a listener.
I would say that the whole of this presentation exceeds the parts, and then mission must be accomplished.
