Wendy, All good suggestions and info. Except for the Jim Beam. Drinking doesn't stop stage fright, only if you're drunk and get stage fright, you might cry in front of the audience The more you do it, the better you get. Practicing everywhere was a good thing to do, and helped you do better than you would have without it. Keep practicing as much as possible. Now you have to practice singing in front of an audience. Seek out every opportunity. The more you sing in front of an audience, the easier it gets. A little bit of "edge" is a good thing, as Lyle said, it's adrenaline and it helps. So, don't worry about the "edge" you get, simply use it. And, remember, the more you do it, the easier it gets.
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music
