Thanks Mark, Jody and Bill you are probably right, but it looked good in 02 when I wrote it! LOL And Tricia I only wish all lyrics WERE crystal clear in their meanings! I was talking to George MCcorkle from the Marshall Tucker band the other day and asked him what "Fire on the mountain" was about and he said it was "About life on the road in a southern rock band" Who'da thunk it? I've also heard that "Hotel California" Is about cancer?? That is a pet peeve of mine tho, making a song understandable to more than the people who were there when it was written, no matter how "Deep" it was at the time, maybe some of them are just too deep? Ya know? Thanks for the idea tho, maybe I could say America went to her knees? Man I have a feeling I'm gonna love this place!
