Thanks, Mark! When I listen to it lately, I too hear the sadness meets whimsy. The singer has distanced herself enough from her own heartbreak to look at it analytically, and yet she's a poet so her "analysis" is full of metaphor and is fun to listen to. Thanks for the big smile you've helped wrap around my face this early afternoon.  Mike
