Hello,
I'm new to this forum. I'm a lyric writer with a focus on Contemporary Country and Country Rock songs. I haven't been doing this for a super-long time, but I am looking to do some serious collaborations.
The lyrics/songs I write are the style that might fit performers like (Rascal Flatts, Chris Cagle, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban). If this is a music genre you're interested in, and if you're open to possible collaborations please PM me and I will send you some of my lyrics to review. Also, if you have music samples uploaded on the net give me the link, I'd like to hear it.
Thanks, Sterling

Sterling, whats up, I'm intrested in maybe doing some collabs with you. I'm an awful lyric writer in my opinion and I'm very new to doing country music(i've been a rock writer for years) so maybe we can hook something up. I've a got 2 songs i'm working on right now, 1 is a rocker in the cowboy cassanova style and the other a pop country ballad. There both in the demo stage so productions not that great but you can get the idea. you can check out my sound click to hear some of my songs. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=939649let me know what you think T

Hello Sterling,
My name is Bobby. I'm more of a music first, getting better all the time at lyrics type person. Why don't you send me something of yours and I'll see what I can do for a contribution. If you don't like it, you can still keep ownership of your part.
I'm going to be in Nashville for a couple of weeks starting on the 22nd. Do you ever get up that way?

Thanks - Bobby

Hey Travis,
I just listened to your songs on Soundclick. Dude, you're GOOD! Being a country music lyricist, I especially liked "Unraveled Hearts". I think it has loads of potential. Do you have it up on Music Xray?
Yeah, let's talk about doing a collaboration. My lyrics are simple, Contemporary Country geared toward the Billboard Top 100 formula. I unashamedly admit, I'm looking to write something extremely commercial in the Country Music genre.
I'm gonna send you a PM with some of my lyrics. So, click on your UserName later to check your Private Messages and let me know if you think you can do something with it.
Thanks, Sterling

Hey Bobby,
Thanks for your reply! I'm gonna shoot you an email a little later today with a couple of the songs I've been working on lately.
You'll find my lyrics are pretty straight forward and intentionally geared toward the Billboard Top 100 formula. I freely admit, I'm looking to write something extremely commercial in the Country Music genre.
Anyway, looking forward to talking to you more, hope we'll be able to work together on some songs.
I'll bet it's pretty exciting to be going to Nashville this month! No, I haven't been there yet. Hope you make some great connections while you're in town!
Thanks, Sterling

Hi, just one question - do you play any instrument as well? Because you mentioned that you write songs and for whom your style might be suitable. Or do you write lyrics only? I am working on some Country Songs from time to time... ah..can you sing as well?

Hi Martin,
I write lyrics only. And my piano playing and singing is something I would never inflict on anyone except my wife who, sadly for her, has no place to run to get away from it (LOL) :0)
I checked out your stuff on SoundClick. Is that you playing and singing on the English tracks?
Anyway, let me know if you want to see some of my lyrics.
Thanks, Sterling

Hi Sterling,
it is me playing on the tracks YES, but I am not the singer. The singer is Vince Denimarck. It is me singing on "True love ways"... not too good *lol*
