As I use Skype sometimes for collaborating, I'm hoping to put my new iPAd to use here as well. I've downloaded the latest version of Skype, but the icon doesn't show up on the screen, although it says in the App store that Skype has been installed. Anyone here use an iPad? Can you shed light on this issue? I've googled, and have found plenty of folks with the same problem, but haven't found a solution. Thanks!  Donna

Either your download didn't work or there isn't a feature to put it on your Desktop. Not sure exactly how the ipad works but if you have the usual start button you could try to click start look for skype in the list of programs. If you see it, put your mouse on it, if you have a mouse, right click the item and you should see where you can send it to your desktop.
