Okay, so technically, this isn't about MY success. But I've mentioned a 5(now 6)year old actress's name who makes her debut in the independent film I scripted "The Shoebox"(which is in the editing process now)...
Her name is Emma Lyle, and her mom just wrote to tell me that she was picked up by the Carson Adler Talent Agency in New York, which is a pretty big deal.
We can now add "And introducing Emma Lyle" to our credits.
I LOVE that kid!!...Remember the name Folks:-)

I tol' ya an' I tol' ya an' I tol' ya... She is now called Emma Rayne Lyle, and after a year and a half of shoestring budget films, casting cattle calls, home schooling, 1 national commercial, and more car troubles than I can count, I just got word from her mom that the kid from the hills in the middle of nowhere Virgina, begins filming in January, playing Sarah Jessica Parker's daughter in this: http://collider.com/i-dont-know-how-she-does-it-sarah-jessica-parker/65719/Her family is "good people", and my prayers continue that there's no rehab in her future... And if'n ya think that every script I write from here on out won't include a part for a young actress as she ages, then yer just being silly. Well Linda, since you asked:-) Fresh from the Sundance Film Festival where she had a wonderful role opposite Tracy Morgan, Emma will be on this week's Law & Order SVU on Wednesday...Not sure how big of a part, but the kid's been working non-stop for a while now, enough for the family to justify the move to LA last week.
