We each are granted a few miracles in our lives, sometimes in the form of love and companionship, a long term blessing until two take wing to the miracles waiting above. lovely write Stan.~~~MFB III

This IS really lovely, Stan! And, since I'm following MFB here, and he waxed eloquent, I will just say, "ditto what MFB said!" -- Lisa

HiYa Matt...Sorry things got busy-enough I never got back here to ThankYa.... I've always favored One-Word-Hooks, & This One I was real fond-of.
I remain a True Romantic...with a conviction that The Deity IS kinda behind much that Occurs in our Day-to-Day. &..when Something Really Goes-Right...it's always Best to Give Credit where Some's Due..heh....
Many Thanks for Your Kind Words & Visit, Amigo....
Best Wishes & a Big Guy-Hug, Stan

I think maintaining "Connections" is SO Important...& it's Wayyy Too Easy to Lose that "Linkage"... But some Gals are VERY Good at keeping US Alive-&-Kicking...&, Yep, somewhat of a Miracle..Daily!!!
Which made me happy-enough..to pen this song about it... ;-)>
Many Thanks for Your Kind Visite, M'LadyChum!
Happy Valentine's Day & Big Hugs Backatcha, Stan

Big Thanks, Mr Jim!!!
I enjoyed Your Music & Hefty Bio, Amigo...I'm a Similar '60's Army Guy...(Ft Knox, Leonard Wood, Pleiku-'Nam, then Heidelberg GY) Art-Major/Cartoonist..who started restoring Clock Dials there..ended up a Clockmaker Day-Job-Wise..Tampa FL after 3 yrs in Belgium at SHAPE Illustrator-Drafting. Penned 1st Song in Tampa at Age 35...31 Years-Ago..Loved It ever since...tho DID take a Decade-Off..to collect Early Electric Fans...when L.A.& Nashville didn't seem ready-for-me/& Vice-Versa..from 1989-1999.
That was right-after a Clock I'd invented..that connected me with Mel Blanc..ALMOST got Something-Going with WarnerBros../Weird Al beat me, with "Eat It"/Mine was "Pig Out"...(& I'm now Chapter 7 in Janet Fisher's "Music Horror Stories"..heh!)
Since I memorize Miserably..& play Zero Instruments, after Self-Producing 7 CDs..at CDBaby.com/TampaStan..(which DO bring in the Beer Money)..I mainly write The Next Lyric, post it HERE at JPF, and pray to find More Music Co-Writers to work-with.
PM me here if You'd Be Interested, Amigo...I'm ALMOST retired from the Clock Business/plan on going to Nashcity LOTS more-often after that's happened...
I have been very lucky at love...got 2 sons to show for it/41 yr marriage...AND some really Good Inspiration every Now & Then for the Next Great Song.
Thanks for Your Kind Visit/Good Luck in The Ville!
Best Wishes & a Big Guy-Hug, Stan

HiDee MeisterBuddy!!!!
OK.."Alive" is In-There, but I still like "Cause" since it Does give The Deity Full-Credit.
Thought the BIG Bad "Heart Cliche" was "Heart/Apart"...which I've never to my memory ever-penned. This'n' WAS penned on a Brand-New-Start Kinda Day...so it was Historically Apropos...heh!
Many Thanks for Your Kind Sugs & Visit, Amigo...definitely worth some Bloomin' Onions when we hit a local Outback Steakhouse...for a few of the Dinners I.O.U. already!
Best Wishes & a Big Guy-Hug, Stan

Thought the BIG Bad "Heart Cliche" was "Heart/Apart"... Actually Stan, most cliche rhymes result from trying to rhyme words that have few perfect rhymes...such as "heart" and "love"...at one time it was unheard of to "near-rhyme"...thought of as "lazy writing"...now it's usually the reverse. Hitmakers want near-rhymes to broaden the scope.

Stan Shayne Is spot on the whole thing is ruined for me
when you slip into cliche rhyme. Heart Brand New Start
Et cetera One look at that line it would be slung out of the
the top floor of The BRILL BUILDING.
Re write the whole thing Stan because it's worth doing it
Probably on the way to become the best lyric you have ever written.
Just be aware of who is buying records today. not five years ago
not fifty years ago Write for todays public where ever they are
As far as music is concerned get someone with a proven record of
writing Great Popular Music.
One of the most important principles of songwriting is to remember that a good song is a partnership of many different components, all working together to produce a satisfying musical experience.
In that respect, song components are either enhancing or compromising their combined effects.

Hi Again Shaynemeister & HiDee Mz Cheyenne...
I think, Overall, I used some fairly new, interesting rhymes throughout the lyric...Didjaever hear "Higher/Required" before... I rest my case.
I liked Exactly what that line Meant...it was Very Real to me when I penned it...(& the "Artsy" Neo-Ryming DOES take-place in the Last Line of each Verse..No?)
I'm not totally Sold ON this artsy-neo-rhyming's Fabulousness, but, yeah, maybe that's 'cuz I DO hark back to when Carol King worked in the Brill Building.
I'm, of course, always Open to a Better Suggested-Line for there..(& got some in a PM..but not-quite-there yet!)
Sorry if I've spoiled it...but...I'm not yet convinced that I have.
But I DO Love Yas for Looking Out for me...It's Very-Appreciated!
Best Wishes & Big Hugs, Stan

P.S.: OK, I've posted an ALT. Line there...See Whatcha Think.
While it's..I hope.."less-cliche"..IS it an Improvement?
Still Head-Scratchin'-Away... Thanks Again, Stan
