Have once again been on hiatus a while, but this time it wasn't because I was overly busy although I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a book to market. Because of the title of this piece I chose to wait until the next full moon after I last posted, and that is today.
MAGIC OF A FULL MOON
c2011 Brian Beecher
Late one night walking with you Taking the lead I then knew we could make it Together as a team
The full moon shining brightly down On that lane on the outskirts of town It was on that night I learned The magic of a full moon
Influences from that night’s moon Fill my heart with cheer All it took was your loving touch To brighten the atmosphere
Any secret fears you had kept hidden Would no longer be forbidden As on that night I would learn The magic of a full moon
We’d find it easier To express what we’d want to say The light of the moon Was also the gift That made our spirits lift
You are so reassuring of which I was so glad Even though it’s often said that is When the world goes mad
But it was then I knew you were the one Life with you has been a lot of fun And I’d always remember The magic of a full moon

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
