Sun Sets Slowly Thru The Canopy The Soft Brown River Flows Along A Jungle Chorus Sings in Harmony The Evening Downpour's Comin' Strong...
Lightning Flashes as Dark Clouds Roll In Strong Winds Shake the Vines & Leaves Orchids, Ferns & Bromeliads Await Their Blessings Pouring Through Palm Trees
(CHORUS) And It's WET... Liquid Kisses Heal The Drought of Day Really WET... Dusty Daytime Gets Washed-Away God's Hidden Creatures Come Out-to-Play When It's WET... When It's WET--
Centipede 'Neath a Philodendron Leaf A Hundred Feet..He's Keepin' Dry Jaguar Mother Slogs Back to Her Den With Fresh-Caught Lemur so They Won't Cry...
Soon Poison Arrow Frogs Start to Sing The Jungle Has A Million Lungs Now Oxygen..Meets H-2-O Fuelling The Mighty Amazon...

You Arch Your Back as We Lie in Our Tent While Orange Monkeys Hum Overhead All is At-Peace as The Storm's Released When Fresh Life Fills The Planet Again

Some very good metaphors her I must say. Not much more to add to this except that it is a different take on the rebirth of the land after a hard rain.
Peace, Brian

G'Mornin' Bro Brian..sorry for the Delay in Thanking You/My Laptop decided to crash over the weekend..I've JUST got Logged-On with my Flea-Market-Bargain Backup rig...this evening.
I've several times been NEAR the Amazon River, yet never been on it/or have seen it. But I've always admired exotic plants & animals..HOPE Our Species can arrive at an understanding on how much we'll lose if the area there keeps being cut & burned for Agribusiness & logging-without-replanting.
Hope to be retired by mid-2012..so we can visit there, finally, & see it before it's all-gone...heh!
Thanks for Your Kind Visit & Words, Amigo! Best Wishes & A Big Guy-Hug, Stan

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
