My Name is Pius. I love writing lyrics and I play some basic chords to try to melodize the lyrics. I've tried softwares but I don't think I can sing my own stuff or maybe singing itself. I'd love to hear some of the lyrics if someone would be willing to help. I write in Country-Pop and Pop/Rock and Christian but any genre they fit is good. I'm also willing to collaborate in any possible way to get things going. I'll pay if I have to. Please let me know if anyone can help, Thank you.

If I may? Why not try posting and critiquing first. Lets us get to know ya and see what relationships that can be built. That, IMO, would be a great way to start.

You might come across a writer similiar to yourself, another writer might be inspired, musically, by what you post either way you will begin to built something.

As a start, if you put a link in your signature, if anyone is reading your stuff, they can quickly link through to your other work, or Facebook page or whatever, and get to know you better.

That way, given time, you should be able to find co-writers in your genre/style.

I can make songs out of words AND supply a demo like below. This is one of my songs called "MOMMY I'M HUNGRY" I usually charge $100 for a melody and for the demo. I sing and play all the music.

Just to be clear, selling your lyrics or melodies or both for $100 dollars is a terrible idea and is an insult to professional writers who work in the industry creating worthwhile and valuable music/lyrics. Barry can do what he wants, but his is not usual business practices nor should you ever sell your stuff to anyone. If you DO choose to purchase a melody or lyric make sure you have a "work for hire" contract signed and notarized clearly spelling out that you own 100% of all rights to that Melody or Lyric ALONE and that no others have been sold that same Melody or Lyric as is often the case with people on the net who sell music to fledgling songwriters. FYI, the resulting song will never find professional success because a producer/label/artist representative would research the song and when they learned you purchased the music or melody or lyric from someone they will not do business with you and you'll be considered an amateur not worth working with/for. Professionals are insulted by these practices. So unless you're just doing this for fun, it's bad form and bad practice to engage in such activity.

This is not an attack on Barry. He may be a perfectly honest guy. Either he has good intentions and a lack of knowledge, or perhaps it is something else. But proceed carefully before you ever engage in this sort of arrangement with anyone even if you find them here on this site. And never do business via Western Union. Make sure it is either a credit card, paypal or by check so you have a legal document and know who you are dealing with. Unfortunately scam artists often require people use Western Union. Stay away from that nonsense. Legit businesses pay taxes, keep good records and don't hide from a couple bucks worth of PayPal fees (and can always require the buyer to cover such fees).

Sorry Barry, but it's my job when I come across this type of thing to let folks know this isn't the way professional writers come up with finished songs legitimately. I would rather you did not post notices of your songs/lyrics for sale. Selling demos is fine with me if you post your info clearly.
