Overall this should be
An exciting day for me
Energized and raring to go
Knowing that you can’t move slow
In the rat race

I’ll take this opportunity
Over the next two weeks
To ensure peace of mind
Knowing this is a good time
To get rid of garbage

I am on a roll
Right now as more good things come my way
And it is the gift
Of the days of traveling far down life’s highway

Being fully aware
Of need and sensitivities so special
There is so much to be done
It’s hard to find the time for fun
When you work as hard as you can for life’s extras

What work or action is required
Does so often make me tired
I may catch up with friends
Try to be helpful to them
To restore balance

And engage in some deep
But too often elusive sleep
It could be a welcome boost
When reality comes home to roost
For the next dance
