http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHdB4-bJkrwI saw you once again late last night, Such a scene of beauty in my dreams, I reached across the room to touch your hand, but nothing's ever what it seems..... If I knew just where to go, to find the one that I love so, Don't you think I'd be there now to kiss the girl I'll never know, never know........never Know I thought of you again tonight, when sleep was a darting butterfly... I could not catch... I could not catch. I know you'll come again some lonely night, such a scene of beauty in my dreams, I'll reach across the room to touch your hand, but nothing's ever what it seems, with the girl of my dreams. Yes, I guess that's how it must go, with the girl I'll never know. Artwhimsically Yours studio MFB III Productions-(c)-1974

Hiya! Nice pitch! A capella is always interesting. At points this sounds like folk, old old folk, and others more a pop ballad. What are your thoughts on production? Also the lyrics you posted here don't seem to match the video you posted? Just curious on that. I was going to comment on the lyrics here, but if that's not them, it's a moot point isn't it? Or is that part of the point of the ....title? It's not the song it seems to be? Grin. Linda

That video practically hypnotized me Very cool, MFB - had similar thoughts as Linda - was hearing this as folk, as (old timey) pop, as jazz and as blues. The latter three of those are about tied. Maybe I'm giving an edge to jazz, just because it's a wistful kind of lyric. Scott

yeah Scott, the godz of music are always well into their cups when they hand me the leftovers from the list of hits already taken. But they always send stuff that touches my heart so I aint complaining. I could hear a sax wailing on this one, as her misty shape appears in the wee hours to entice a guy she'll never really know. Thanks for stopping by, I'm in some kind of writing frenzy...but I will be done soon and repay the favor.
