Today I was contacted by Alison Pipitone and asked to forward the following information on an upcoming songwriting workshop opportunity.

As you may know, I am among several JPF'ers who have enjoyed being a part of Alison's workshops and I could not give you a more enthusiastic endorsement! It sounds like she's finalizing her plans very shortly, so if you have any interest you might want to contact her before the end of this weekend. Here's the info:


I'm thinking of running a workshop on 4 Wednesdays and then 1 Monday - the dates would be:

JULY 14, 21, 28, AUG 4 (Wednesdays) and Monday AUG 9

So, 5 weeks - 7pm-9pm(ish).... $75 for the workshop. After our 5th night, we'll arrange a performance, either at an open mic or a party.

I would like 8 - 10 people in the workshop, so please pass this along to any songwriting friends.

For those not familiar with this program, you can be a beginning songwriter or you can be making your living as a songwriter! You will write 4 - 5 songs during this workshop; I have had a lot of really positive feedback about how the class is run.
