Welcome, Tina! There are several ways to go about this. You can try to start a JPF Chapter in your area and meet musicians that way (contact the founder of this site, Brian Austin Whitney before doing so) but you can also consider doing collaborations with people here if you have the means to record and send wav files or mp3 files. Lots of folks here write country songs and are itching to get someone to sing them. Another option is to go to some open mics in your area and connect with other musicians who might be looking to put something together. You might want to add a link on your "signature line" of your music if you have one. Glad to have you aboard!

Tina,
Did not get your e-mail today. Send it again please. My suggestion is usually to see if there is an NSAI group in the area. I know there is one in Little Rock and they are very active.
The most important thing to do is get around other musicians and writers. That will help you find where you need to go.

Hi Tina:
Welcome to JPF. The largest Arkansas NSAI group is in Little Rock. Visit the Big NSAI site to get names and number there. They used to meet once a month and had a fairly large group. There is at least one studio not too far north of Heber Springs (sorry, can't remember the name of the town) but they have (or had) a website a couple of years ago. Seemed quite talented and were not asking much for demo work/recording time.
