"Just having some fun" worked out real well Cal... coupla minor suggestions before the half time show (lose the "for", was probably a typo or incomplete revision to begin with) Though we never placed a bet (though is more fitting than "and") And I have to ask you, how did you "cut down" on all the possibilities, such as "hurry up offence", "illegal use of hands", "false start", ....there was so much to play with..  And I love the doing\viewing bridge... great centrepiece
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

Nice song, but if you are thinking about pitching it or spending any money on recording it, there is no way the NFL will permit someone to use "Super Bowl" in a commercial recording.
