I'm selling my pair of Peavey PR 15 speakers - $200 for both, firm. They go for $200 each new, and they both sound like new. If you are interested, post a message here or PM me here. These speakers are light, have 15 inch woofers and horns, and for the money sound very good - I just don't have room for them - I'm building a smaller system. I don't want to sell them on craig's list... I'd rather sell them to a JPF'er that wants them.

Really don't need them, got no place to put them and probably shouldn't spend the money, but I might be interested if they're not already gone now or by the time I make up my mind.....

Steve,
I broke down and put them on craigslist last night about 11 PM. I've had two people e-mail me and one woman who wanted to buy them tonight. I told her I wouldn't be home (I'm going to Leigh's CD Release Pary) but she wants to get them Saturday night.
I'm buying a pair of EV ZX 1's as soon as I sell the PR 15's. Then I'm saving up for an EV SB 122 sub. And then eventually I'll add a second SB 122 and I'll be done with my PA system. I'm trying to build a great sounding kick ass PA system that will fit in my trunk, basically. If I quit playing, at least I'll have the best home stereo on the block. Or at least the loudest.
My big problem will be this - a pair of ZX 1's will do voice and guitar very nicely, but without the sub they're seriously lacking in low end. So I won't have much low end until I get that first sub.
I also have a pair of Peavey PR 12's that I will eventually sell, if you're interested in those. Probably sell those for $150 for the pair.

Final result - Speakers sold. I also bought a pair of EV ZX-1's and one SB122 sub woofer. Eventually I'll add the second sub, but for right now I'm broke. Loving the EV's, though. I've wanted them for a long, long time.
