I have recently joined a Classic Rock Cover Band and we play Rush, Pink Floyd, the Doors, Tom Petty etc.
I was wondering if there is a source on the internet that I can go to to find out what patches, sounds even sheet music or tabs to short cut the learning curve. It seems wherever I go, its all ads or a spam site.
Thanks-
Chris

There are a HUGE number of good sites where you can obtain lyrics, tabs, sheet music and midi files. They are normally free to download. My advice is to google "lyrics to" or "guitar tab for" or "midi file of" and then add the song title eg "spirit of the radio". It is then just a case of sifting through sites till you get what you want. Sorry I do not have any links to hand but I use this system and have built a collection of stuff from this classic rock genre.

For midi files, you might also try searching by the title with the filename extension - to help weed out some of the other stuff that will come up.
"Title.mid" for example
