FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Heading South for the Winter Omaha, NE based Singer/Songwriter Justin Lamoureux of Midwest Dilemma will take his roots rock style down south for the winter. Armed with only a guitar, a few cowboy cut shirts, and a fifteen passenger van, Justin will make an appearance in Kansas City, MO on Monday, January 24th, 2005. The show will start at 7:30pm at Davey's Uptown Ramblers Club, located on 3402 Main Street. Nashville, TN native Reagan Roeder will open the show with an indie rock songwriting style. Born and raised in the Heartland, Justin Lamoureux has much to tell about his life and experiences growing up in the Midwest. At an early age Justin’s father, a 30-year veteran railroader and singer/songwriter helped influence his journey and life as a musician. Leaving his tired Sioux City, IA hometown for a new beginning and flourishing music scene, Omaha, NE was a needed change of pace. But not until after his early twenties did Lamoureux find his own voice and simplistic approach to songwriting. Many of his songs originated from inspiration found in the weather, relationships, geography and situations that sometimes hit close to home. But don't confuse the word simplistic with boring. Justin puts it all on the line with his intense stage presence and explosive style revealing urgency for honest emotion. In mid-2002 Midwest Dilemma was introduced by Lamoureux as a concept that would take shape through much writing and recording. Midwest Dilemma has logged thousands of miles throughout the country in an endless journey to seek out new fans and reunite with old ones. While much of the traveling will be left up to Justin the other supporting musicians include vocalist Jennie Lee, multi-instrumentalist John Stevens, bass guitarist Bob Thornton and Jerry Stevens on drums. "If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
