Just a reminder. JPF Orange County Chapter Meeting August 19, 2002 7-9PM Agenda Welcoming by Mentor Joey Arreguin and OC Coordinator Jean Bullock‘ Brief Member Intro Announcements & Reminders: We need 20 active members before we can have a showcase. Brian A Whitney, our founder, has added new forums to the JPF website, please check them out they are great addtions. A Lyrics Only Category has been added to the Annual Awards Contest. There is still time to post an entry. You will find the post near the Lyrics Forum Section. I would like to suggest we all develop a weekly habit of checking the JPF Website. A lot of information and opportunities are listed there. By interacting with other JPF members on the message boards, you broaden your networking horizons. A lot of members have formed very productive relationships in this way. Let people get to know you. Also there is a new Venue forum on the site. Jody Whitesides is the moderator and is collecting Venue data. The info needs to be fairly recent, with contacts, signup times, phone numbers etc. based on your personal experience with the venue. Tonight’s Featured Speaker: Lisa Arreguin Topic: Promoting Your Work In The Music Industry Question and Answers Song Circle (if time permits) Member announcements, networking, last minute reminders and closing. DIRECTIONS: AT: Love & Laughter Studios, 1007 E. North St. Anaheim, CA 92869 TIME: 7PM to 9PM. Joey's Office Phone: (562) 946-2022 for questions/directions PRIOR to the meeting. (714) 776-5443 for directions DURING THE MEETING. Pictures speak louder than words so, here is the direct link to the map that shows Joey's Love & Laughter Studio in Anaheim. You can also cut and paste the internet address in if your e-mail program can't link you directly. Use the zoom out box to find the best path from the city in which you live. http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt=Tmap&addr=1007+E+North+St&city=Anaheim& state=CA&slt=33.846703&sln=-117.906989&name=&zip=92805-1939&country=us&BFKey =&BFCat=&BFClient=&mag=9&desc=&cs=9&newmag=10&poititle=&poi=&ds={Ds} The studio entrance is really off of La Palma, but you can access the studio from either E. North St. or La Palma. The closest intersection is East St. and La Palma. If you are driving on La Palma and heading east towards East Street, the entrance is just past the railroad tracks, past the Apartments, then turn right into the studio parking area which is set back from the street a little. The studio is before the East St. and La Palma St. intersection. If you are driving on La Palma and heading west towards East Street, go past the intersection and look for the studio on your left. It will be before the apartments and the railroad tracks. The entrance is set back a little from the street. If you miss the La Palma Entrance, use the North St. address, the studio is behind the residence there. Just go up the driveway behind the house and you will see the studio building to the left. Jean Bullock JPF Orange County Chapter Coordinator

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
