Hello everyone. I am looking to form or join an existing band. Ideally one that plays country/countryrock but open to suggestions.
I am a 27 yr old singer/songwriter/rythym guitarist. I have been playing since I was 13 when I changed from violin to guitar.
My influences range from Creedance Clearwater Revival to Johnny Cash and pretty much anything inbetween.
Vocally I was told I am a "tenor 1 (and then some)". So I can sing quite a bit of stuff. I do very well (so far) with Garth Brooks, Montgomery Gentry, Mark Chestnutt and various others. Just a note, I can sing the intro part of Come Sail Away by STYX (haven't tried further, like the beginning so much..lol).
If interested please drop me a line at: radeleur@yahoo.com and please leave you name, number and the usual jazz.
I want to do this for real. NO game players. I am seeking to do this for fun, frolic and for a living. So yes I am serious.
Thanks,
Raymond de Leur
P.S. For anyone who recognizes my name from the 99.5 The Wolf radio/website recently, yes I was the one who won the "Best Seat In The House" contest and spent Saturday 2-5-05 at the Mardi Gras DFW concert in Fair Park on the concert stage on my new couch(yes the couch I was sitting on I got to keep).
I'll tell you this. Even though I was not an artist there, just being up on the stage during that concert gave me quite a different outlook on artists, music and what I want to do.

Just an update, I have found another guitarist and songwriter that has prior and current band and touring experience. Together we are searching for serious/talented musicians that want it all, the gold in the pan so to speak. We are serious and want the same. However please don't be so serious that you lose sight of why you started playing in the first place. The love of music!! We want and value that quality and never ever want to lose it or forget where we came from or who helped us get there, no matter where there is (hopefully the big time)!!!
So, if interested in doing something new/different/artistic or any variation drop us a line and let's see where it will lead!!
Thanks,
Raymond de Leur & J.J.
