Press Release

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Terry Allan Hall will be appearing in concert at MayFest 2003, in Ft. Worth’s Trinity Park on May 3rd, on the ArtStage from 6:30pm until 8.

This will be Hall’s 24th appearance on MayFest’s stages and he will share the stage with Donnie Angel and Char Morris, the other 2/3s of “Too Hot For Snakes”. Donnie is a fast rising innovator of the electric bass; in addition, he’ll be adding his distinctive vocal harmonies to select tunes. Char, on congas, bongos and various other percussion instruments, is known for her unique “minimalist” approach to Latin, African and other percussion styles.

Hall’s family-oriented programs are a mainstay at area restaurants, coffee houses and other venues, as well as festivals, nursing homes and retirement centers.

Hall’s CD, “Singer/Songsmith”, on his own MEK, Recordings, Ltd. label, is primarily composed of his originals, plus the traditional Scottish “murder ballad” Pretty Polly. Hall and his musical cohorts are recording the final tracks to his next release “A Texan In Exile” and hope to have it finished in time for their MayFest performance.
