Hey, Fellow songwriters! I'm finally able to do something I've been wanting to do for ages. Give away something to a fellow, perhaps struggling artist, not unlike myself, looking for a leg up. I've begun a collaboration with A.V.I.D., a not-for-profit group which helps accident victims nationwide receive information and valuable services free of charge. After discussing several fundraising ideas, we've decided on a songwriting competition . . If you'd like to check them out you can call toll-free at 1-866-673-8110. You will get a recorded message about A.V.I.D. Accident Victims Information Distributors. We're offering our grand prize winner, for those of you who don't already belong, a one year membership into Taxi, inc. THE organization that helps unsigned writers and bands get record and publishing deals. You can check them out @ www.taxi.com If you already belong, we will renew you membership next year. Plus, "Masterwriter", the ultimate CD-ROM collection of tools for the professional songwriter. Total value is aproximately $500. Are the entries supposed to revolve around a certain subject or does anything go. Also, how important is the demo quality. Are you judging the song or the song AND production etc.
