BluesAid Popular music often forgets it's roots. The pioneers who created rock and r&b from the blending of gospel and blues have been overlooked by the record lables who made profits off their recordings, contemporary musicans lift songs and music never giving credit and these orginators of popular music age and are lost. BluesAid, a 501 c 3 organization, raises funds to provide medical care, support and, recognition for the musicans that are now forgotten and who never recieved proper credit and payment for their contribution to music Through the organizations efforts blues legend Sam Carr is receiving the necessary treatment for cancer, the gravestone of Sonny Boy Williamson has been replaced, and numerous other artist have been helped. Please, at your next performance, gathering or event think of these musicans and pass the hat and make a contribution to the BluesAid Fund. BluesAid c/o SBBS P.O.
