While my band, Oliver Creak, is known for performing creative original music in the Greater Philadelphia and Wilmington area, we are also well versed in performing Traditional Irish Music. The Celtic side of Oliver Creak will be performing a benefit to help restore The Colonial Plantation at Ridley Creek State Park near Media, PA on Saturday August 9th at 7:00pm. The Colonial Plantation is a real working farm that recreates the 18th and 19th century in a Living History format. It is a great place to bring kids to teach them how are ancestors worked and lived. We will be performing jigs, reels, polkas and a few good pub songs. There is a small donation fee. Oliver Creak often donates our musical talents for good causes. Sounds great. There is a similar place here in Indy called Connor Prarie, but they mostly only have Symphonies.. (their series is called Symphonies on the Prarie).

Due to the rain last weekend, the Oliver Creak concert to benefit the restoration of the animal barn at The Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park in Edgemont, PA has been rescheduled.
