JPF Home Page Forums "A Gift of Love" - All proceeds to the Red Cross

Greetings,

A group of independent artists with music available on MP3.com have each donated a song to a new project - "A Gift of Love".

You can download or listen to songs from this page. Doing so raises "Pay for Play"
money that will also go to the Red Cross. Eventually, a CD will also be available and proceeds from sales will also go to the Red Cross.

As of my writing this there are only five songs available, but more are coming.

Great effort Jim.
WE are doing a similar thing i here via IUMA September Eleventh site.
It is rocketing along, with all earnings going directly to Red Cross Distaer relief Funds.
Has cracked the #1 and #2 positins in Folk and Country Folk respectivly and #6 in Rock.
Is curently #38 in all genre and on Featured Artists roser in IUMA as well.

Thank you for your e-mail toward our September Eleventh site on IUMA
The site is now hovering around the high 30s in the all genre charts, having
entered them on Sept.20th at 126.
It , at last look was #1 on Folk, #2 on Country Folk and #6 on rock.
IUMA has placed it in the Featured sites roster so it rotates in their daily
at random.
As you would have seen when you visited September Eleventh site, this is a
combined effort by writers and artists to raise money for the Red Cross
Disaster Relief Fund, with all earning earned directly from the site going
to that cause.
As such, we are not in a position to pay out for services, but if your
company wants to contribute in any way possible to the cause, we would be
most grateful.
Any contribution you make toward this effort would be listed in our credits
section unless you told us otherwise.
So far the project has brought lyricist, composers and artists together in a
common cause.
To add any, or all of the skills your company can offer to the pot would be
absolutely great.
