I always told you I would change I wasn't the guy that I became But I never believed you'd leave That's how naive I could be
Chorus: I'm not waving the white flag yet When you're the love of a lifetime I can't forget I'm praying on stars I see above And I'm not giving up on your love
Jealousy destroyed what we once had I was out of line when I got mad I thought the worst without just cause I can't believe what a fool I was
repeat chorus
Now I know what I have lost And I'll get you back at any cost Words can't prove how I've changed now Give me one more chance to show you how
repeat chorus

Hey Jim, I really like the simplicity of this lyric and the message. No nits from me.

Hi Jim I like when I read the songs people post and I really relate to them. I think this is really good the simplicity says alot. But I will try to give a nit or two ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Last verse line 2 I dont think fits,( I dont know how to say why I dont think it does) so i will just say in reality she decides if he gets her back..so see if you think something like "and ill prove it to you at any cost" will work instead. also in the chorus see if you like "wishing" instead of "praying" great song jmo Keith

Thanks Keith. I like the suggestion about changing the line to "prove it to you at any cost". You're probably right about "wishing" too, as most people wish on stars instead of pray...I think. Thanks again.

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
