Bridge (a bridge is usually a different viewpoint; here you are saying similar lines..why not introduce a couplet featuring the opposite of closer: farther)

All ours for the taking <<--Make the most of each line by making each word count.

It’s love that we’re making <<--worded to rhyme with taking; more natural phrase with 2 less words: We're making love
