We are working on some virtual gatherings, performances and workshops. To do it we'd need 10 interested people. It only requires a laptop or cellphone with a Camera/audio.
Let me know,

By the way, it could also be in the form of a song share where you play pre-recorded track and discuss. If there are 10 people, each gets 4 minutes for a song and 4 minutes to discuss/get feedback, you have a nice 90 minute gathering, make better friends, find co-writers, learn if your song connects at all (you'll know by watching people listen as much as their words).

I think it would be nice to meet the folks here (well, most of you LOL) in person, even if it is by Zoom. As I said on another board, my local NSAI chapter has been doing this quite successfully since we have been unable to meet in person. The secret might be not to do it too often, so that people really look forward to it and there is a decent turn out.
Since "lag-time" kills true "real-time" interaction, would it be beneficial to schedule times for people to discuss just one song/collaboration at a time? I just think there's already plenty of platforms out there to "show off" lol... If we gave this live interaction more structure and purpose then it could be more useful. In other words, a live critique with performance examples instead of just typed faceless posts
We tried to make it happen, but most of the posters here are not also performers, just writers. We will let everyone know if we are able to pull something together. It would be familiar technology that most of you have seen before.
Thanks,
Brian

I think singer songwriters are only on forums cuz promotion on a audience of fans is logistic nightmare But a showcase of talent is always a good idea . This guy was a nobody , now he's a somebody in a week
