Hey Perry, no need to have writers block, you've practically written a song in your post, and a great title/hook like Housebound.
tell your story, where are you, what are you sitting on, how are you killing time, how much coffee what's the view from the window/what are you watching on tv,does the place need a lick of paint, who's with you, have you a pet, was that a spider, etc etc
Compared to all the victims Now six feet under ground I guess I got it easy I'm only housebound
all the best,john.

You could probably write much about what has happened with the virus and enviroment. I know people that can not work because of a pre-existing condition. Local bars and restauants are also closed down. It seems like a ghost town. How will they recover? The economy was booming before this and something seems fishy.

Beyond our walls an ill wind blows, A gale of war and strife, Diseases spreading far and wide Endangering all life.
The seasons caught in climate change With no clear start or end, Bring drought and fires through the land, The scars may never mend.
Within our walls in solitude, Tranquility and peace, Make art and music from our hearts, Of joy that does not cease.
Spread your found serenity With family and friends, To start a counter war of hope To fight these fearful trends.
Spread your hope like mushroom clouds To cover every nation, Make your home the starting point, Ground zero of imagination.
