Thumbs up to Leo Kottke! Also, my two favorite artists who just completely captivate me with only an acoustic guitar are Claudio Sanchez and Anthony Green. With their full bands behind them, they're amazing. But there's just something magical about it when they just strip the songs down to the core and it's just their voice, acoustic guitar, and pure emotion.
