Oh, this is heartbreakingly lovely. It reminded me as well of the lovely Irish folk song "Go Lassie, Go" (I think it's sometimes also called "Wild Bloomin' Heather".) Your voice here has the perfect poignant edge, and the instruments are lovely. Like some of the others here, I could envisage one or two additions, but even as it is, ithe song's a gem. Donna Thanks Donna - I'll go check that song out. I'm sure this melody or something close to it has been used a lot - it's too traditional sounding to be completely original. Glad it worked for you.
