Roxy, I missed this the first time around, and I'm glad it got bumped so I could hear it. If you didn't include the stuff at the start and end, it'd be hard to figure out this was a scratch demo. I love the "sampling" of The Thrill Is Gone and RESPECT. I even enjoyed the bump bump bump along with the horns. The groove was perfect. The only line that didn't work for me was "I took that as long as I could". Something about the word "that", kinda weak and it' wasn't clear what it was referring to. I felt what you really wanted to say was "I took your sh** as long as I could". Maybe you should say "I took your.." then have that guitar twang come in  ..ant
