Hey K!
I like to think I can listen with a pretty critical ear when I try, and I'm having trouble thinking of any comments on room for improvement on this. From a performance/production standpoint, it's great. The structure perfectly suits the content, and the arrangement suits the overall sound and spirit of the song extremely well. The only thing I can think of is the lyrical content could pack a little more punch, but you've stated that you're intending the song to have a universal appeal, so this very well was an intentional choice.
To put it more concisely: excellent work!
