Musically it resembles Turn The Page and/or Wanted Dead or Alive...Youngstown by Springsteen.... and in the intro....Angie
it's heartfelt and I enjoyed it, my only complaint is that the chorus may not really be a chorus. It sounds more like a c Section, but maybe thats just me.
Other than the BPM maybe, I don't hear any connection to Turn the Page or Wanted. Maybe overall emotionality. if connecting it to an antecedent I would lean more towards a ballad such as Edmund Fitzgerald in emotion and speed. With Mike's addition of the cello I hear more Game of Thrones than anything which you suggested, and not lot of that. Have you noticed that you appeal most everything back to a Springsteen song? That might be a badthing Martin, who knows? to sound in the ball park of a master?.... Theres no doubt those songs are in there. Does it matter? Not really, but im not making this up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GaFUOQWi9A
