We've been busking for 40 years on both coasts, so basically, we've been thrown out of a lot of places. There used to be a guy in San Francisco (circa 1970) who called himself "The Human Jukebox". He had this huge, multicolored cardboard box with a slot for money in the front. People would request a song, and he would play and sing it from the box; either on guitar or banjo. He also did stand-up. He was really good, and I never saw anybody stump him. The little kids absolutely loved it! The guy was literally printing money.
