Hi Mike...I have used a USB deck and converted my record collections to digital. The results are pretty good. It all depends on the quality of the turntable and cartridge you buy plus the method used to convert your vinyl to files. You need a high bit rate and decent software. Here is a good article explaining in depth. http://www.computeraudiophile.com/c...nalog-vinyl-digital-files-using-windows/PS it is a long and hard process depending on the size of your collection but well worth it. I had several hundred albums and numerous singles. I still have lots left to do.
