Here's another wonderful lyric by Michael and I put music: we have Franco on guitar & drums and 4 young italian ladies singing at their first recording altogether (Alessia Magalotti's O.A. 4-tet). It took some months to put it together, so Mike what can i say - Halleluja (LOL)! http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_14424837Kingdom come There I was all alone and lost trying hard to, find my way back I've been down I paid the cost I must redeem, get my soul on track There's a man who - understands me and forgives all the things I’ve done I'll take his journey - believe in his words and he will take me to Kingdom Come Hallelujah, hallelujah blow your horn, beat the - kettle drum Hallelujah, hallelujah my soul is saved for - Kingdom Come Hallelujah, hallelujah I'm in the light, the - darkness shunned Hallelujah, hallelujah I found my place in - Kingdom Come I've walked in darkness I - lived in sin, but something stronger turned me around Heavens angels - took my hand, and led me away from that dreadful ground There was Jesus, in - all his glory I walked with him and my life begun I saw the light I - felt the love I know the peace of Kingdom Come

Sounds really cool to me. The chorus to me sounds almost like some cajun/gospel influenced harmonies to me. Well done!
I like all the little guitar stuff going on, too.

Loved what you did with this lyric, has the "feel good" melody it needed. Great collab!
I would love to hear someone do a bluegrass version of this, that would be cool too.

Awesome lyrics Michael. You have a great knack for telling a story and it really shines here. The arrangement was certainly interesting with it's jazzy and somewhat reggae-flavored beat but it made me really want to hear the piece given a full reggae treatment as I think it would be perfectly suited to it. Either way, it's a very well-written and catchy tune and I enjoyed it a lot.

Howdy guys,
A really solid lyric, Mike and the melody is very catchy and upbeat. Gospel sound with something else thrown in but I can't put my finger on it as to what that something is, haha. Love the ladies accents in there. Nice write both of you.

thank you all, friends, and I agree with you all that it is not a common gospel sound - it changed during recording as everyone did put their own feeling in it (a bit country to my ears ;-).
