The only time I would be happy seeing her unplugged is if she is hooked up to a life support machine (joke)
Seriously I do not know what all the fuss is about... this weirdo is a distinctly average performer who dresses in the dark from a kids dressing up box....probably just to shock and create controversy...she should not be encouraged. Whilst she does not suck she certainly does nothing special musically to justifiy the fame and fortune she receives.

It's a shame, really. I remember seeing videos of her performing songs, just her and a piano way back before she became "Lady Gaga", and she was still a relatively local performer. She really does have a lot of passion and talent. She just chooses to waist it focusing more on her image and spinning controversy.

Am I the only one who thinks Howard Stern is the biggest sleaze ball on planet Earth? I never could see the merit in studying fame as a life occupation. It seems sadly empty. Makes me think of Peggy Lee's song:
I remember when I was a very little girl, our house caught on fire. I'll never forget the look on my father's face as he gathered me up in his arms and raced through the burning building out to the pavement. I stood there shivering in my pajamas and watched the whole world go up in flames. And when it was all over I said to myself, "Is that all there is to a fire?"
Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there is
And when I was 12 years old, my father took me to the circus, the greatest show on earth. There were clowns and elephants and dancing bears And a beautiful lady in pink tights flew high above our heads. And as I sat there watching the marvelous spectacle I had the feeling that something was missing. I don't know what, but when it was over, I said to myself, "Is that all there is to a circus?"
Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there is
Then I fell in love, with the most wonderful boy in the world. We would take long walks by the river or just sit for hours gazing into each other's eyes. We were so very much in love. Then one day, he went away. And I thought I'd die -- but I didn't. And when I didn't I said to myself, "Is that all there is to love?"
Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing
I know what you must be saying to yourselves. If that's the way she feels about it why doesn't she just end it all? Oh, no. Not me. I'm in no hurry for that final disappointment. For I know just as well as I'm standing here talking to you, when that final moment comes and I'm breathing my lst breath, I'll be saying to myself,
Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there is

Hi Guys, thanks Colin for posting that one of Lady G. on Howard Stern. She can sing. I enjoy her stuff, a lot. I know she goes over the edge "pardon the pun" sometimes, but she has talent. Here is another unplugged of her singing You and I on the view from last week...it was good!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hck2qaJQxXsKim

I never thought too much about her until I heard her on the Howard Stern show. I was blown away! Such passion and talent.
She’s also on top so I admire anyone who has “figured out” how to get there. I’ve been trying for 40 years.

I just saw her here in Paris, France and here's my blog comments:
The show was amazing. She's the real deal no doubt. 75,000 prople were there. All going crazy. The stage theatrics were first class as good as any broadway production. Amazing set and effects. But she sang for real and sang her ass off. She danced too and was exhausted and out of breath between numbers and you could tell she was doing it all for real. She's only 26 and is clearly among the greatest artists working today. I don't even love all her music, but she sings, performs and most importantly entertains as well as any artist I have ever seen and I have seen over 25,000 artists perform live in my life. I'd say it was the most impressive live show I have ever seen stage, singing and spectacle wise. It was different than Aerosmith in the early 2000's when they gave the greatest concert I have ever seen as a straight band performance. Lady GaGa was an entirely different animal. Here was a typical talented singer-songwriter equal to many many others I personally know who wasn't getting anywhere and who reinvented herself in a way that goes beyond belief.
I have a few pics on Facebook that Linda posted (the mass of humanity is impressive). Overall I give it an A+

She's got super talent for writing, creating and can also rehash stuff to be relevant today. That's a winning combo.
I've covered a couple of her songs, did a video to one of them Bad Romance. The other is "Yöu & I". I did that for a show not long ago and there were people coming and saying - that was awesome how you did her song, "made me really like it, despite my not liking her."
Who knows, maybe I'll do a video for Yöu & I. That's a great track especially with Mutt Lange and Brian May contributing.
There are those of us who don't appreciate the delivery of the message, but the message itself is worthwhile. Too bad for them.
