I did an experiment with SUNO. I uploaded an audio, a simple strumming on my ukulele. Strumming in the key of A, 57 sec. that goes like this: Section A: 8 bars in 4/4 A / /A /E /D / /E /A / Section B: 8 bars in 4/4 D /A /D /E /D /A /G /E / Repeat Section A: 8 bars in 4/4 A / /A /E /D / /E /A /_ Link to listen: https://suno.com/song/a1772089-9310-4097-ab36-0dbb42966b07The only thing I did is the 57 seconds of strumming with my ukulele. The result is a 3 minutes song. Link to listen: https://suno.com/song/8f802602-f2a8-45bd-bfd4-183fad7f3b20Generated lyrics by Suno: Title: Starlit Night Style of music: acoustic [Verse] Up above the moon shines bright Twinkling stars in the sky City lights fade to night Dancing shadows passing by [Verse 2] Whispers in the cool night air Echoes of a distant song Underneath the dreamy glare Holding on all night long [Chorus] Starlit night oh starlit night Warm and glowing magic light Starlit night oh starlit night Take me on a flight so high [Verse 3] Waves are crashing on the shore Silver trails across the sand Moments lost forevermore Take my heart and hold my hand [Bridge] Lonely lovers' lullaby Silver dreams in endless sky Wish upon a star Don't sigh Catch a glimpse before they die [Chorus] Starlit night oh starlit night Warm and glowing magic light Starlit night oh starlit night Take me on a flight so high

My take on this experiment:
Nice voice: mix of Michael Buble and Ed Sheeran Nice melody and rhythm. In A major and BPM: 118 Good contrast between sections. I like the structure: verse, verse, chorus, verse, bridge (twice), chorus, interlude and a solo to finish. Lyrics: I like the chorus and the bridge. The verses are soso...
Overall, it's fine but what I love to do is to compose melodies. I don't want AI to compose melodies for me.
I think it's a fine tool for lyricists only. Suno should produce music sheets...

I'm waiting for it to be able to accept my melodies, my riffs And then sing it too. At that point it will ai doing the arranging. Like band in a box does. But it's an opportunity to learn how to write lyrics, too
