Vocal Megan Music production Vic Arnold Copyright ©️ John Vaughan 2022 Lyric and Music Megan has a great voice Vic and I agree, but this isn't a great take we know. The initial backing was removed as the demo instrumentation wasn't good either. Vic rescued it with his production and musical skills. We were hoping to find another female vocalist to take over when Megan bowed out. The song is also on the long side and this probably needs addressing also if and when it gets redone. JV https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14416739BLUE AND YELLOW V Last night the sky turned red In sadness, the moon and stars closed their eyes A mother caressed her child in her bed Spoke words of comfort, she knew could be lies V So tired she slept and dreamed that they'd woken to a better world. No longer the nightmare that had been outside, children's laughter could be heard C Morning came, sleep had left their heads Last night the sky had turned red. One day after a million tears are shed The sky will glow, blue and yellow above their heads V Spring flowers should now have bloomed but not one blade of grass she saw outside Last year sweet flowers lit up the room now all beauty has found a place to hide MUSIC B She held her child close to her breast whispered I love you darlin' with a kiss Made a vow to her, it won't always be like this Chorus

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
