Here is one that Garner sings and Max and Franco play.I just sit back and write the lyrics and let them do the hard work.Thanx Garner,Max and Franco!Mike http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12204325Just Someone You're not a memory You're not a dream You're not a song That i want to sing You're just someone, passing through my heart You're just someone, passing through my heart You're not a night You're not a day You're not a song That hurts to play You're just someone, who's torn my world apart You're just someone, who's torn my world apart You're just someone, that came and went Times we had is just time spent I don't look back, when it's done I try to tell myself, you're just someone You're not a smile You're not a tear You're not a name That i care to hear You're just someone, that i lie about to myself You're just someone, that i lie...... [chorus]

Mike, I'm not in a spot where I can listen to this song, but it looks like pretty darn good lyric.

Mike,
Pretty tune! Liked the lyric, the the music and the vocal independently. I can't quite put my finger on it but there are one or two times where the vocal melody dose not seem completely in sink with the music. Not a major issue by any means and quite possibly it's just the way it resonates in my ear. Either way I still enjoy it!

Mike, the vocal is either off key or out of synch with the music. Still like the lyric. They might need to do a retake.

Nice lyrics Mike.
Nice build--it's obvious that he's hurt, I like how your wrote about the attempted disguise of her real feelings. Nice write, nice melody--a little polishing with the timing & delivery and you'll have a good one!

Hey Biker Dude,
A really pretty tune and exceptional lyric but the singer is out of sync with the music for some reason. Iron that out and you have a winner.

her I am! I know, and garner told me, it was a bit difficult the phrasing here, but I myself had difficulties singing it - cause the melody is intended to lie in-between the beats, so that's it LOL. thank you for appreciation !

Hi Mike. I like the lyrics, melody and the vocal. I think the steel guitar maybe what's out of sync and playing the right notes but not in the right order. Vic

Mike, great lyric here dude but I agree with the others, something seems disjointed in the vocal? It's like off from the beat and key? Keep working on this and the vocalist has a great voice, she just needs to get synced up and you have yourself a hit!! :)))) scotty

Hey Mike- The music and lyric of this has all the things that Nashville is looking for. I don't mean to belittle anyone's effort, but I would run an ad for a singer on Craigslist in Nashville, and real put a polished, professional vocal track to bring this home. I was drawn into the song at the beginning, but the vocal doesn't give the song justice. Like I said, this has all the bells and whistles, but I'd bank all my money on a top notch vocal. It would be a show stopper. All the best to you and the collaborators-Bobby

hey Scotty, thanx for your ears on this one!i think Max is on that matter.Mike
Hey Bobby,i appreciate your time and thoughts on this one!I'm not one to throw my line out and see what i catch in Nashville,i don't have the patience, time or green beans for that anymore,LOL.I'm havin' fun doin' what i'm doin'.I think Garner has a lovely voice for this and i'm sure there's a lot of voices that would work but once the metering/sync is worked out it'll be top notch!I do appreciate you droppin' by!Mike
