I thought I would share this short video on how to check levels on a microphone in a studio. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z-97jtqi38

Humm,
The first time I saw a Tape Recorder was in 1956. Dang, now you tell me how to do a Mike Check. The guy who showed it to us just spoke into the Mic. And that my friends got me started into buying and recording with tspe recorders. But, I have moved up some. I now have, count 'em, a 4 Track Tascam Porta 03, I think, Cassette Recorder. And, just so you know, 2 Concertone $6.60 dollar Mics. Hey, they still work! But, just for that guy in Scotland, I do have a CD Recorder so I am getting there! No complaining from the Gallery now.
Soon, i hope to put up a Link to a new Web Site where you can listen to some of my songs, again.

Ray it must be difficult in this day and age to get the coal to make the steam these items you use run.

"The great thing about a dream come true, is that it is born with a great appetite. That appetite keeps it growing and evolving and it swallows up all those other dreams you have and spits them back out as reality as well." -Brian Austin Whitney
