I'm all signed up and looking forward to it! How many folks usually attend these workshops? Or should I say, How many slots do they typically allot.?

Hi Jason
Good to see you post something here on JPF...I have always told the members about attending your workshops/publisher pitches at BMI in Nashville...They are among the best and most productive uses of my time here in Nashville and I am sure your west coast offerings will be equally good.....
You are one of the nicest and most well connected/experienced people I have ever met in the music biz and I wanna thank you again for the efforts you have made to help others navigate the maze of both writing songs and pitching them to the industry..
Thanks for your encouragement and the straight scoop from a long time veteran who has truly been deep in the trenches for many years himself..
I highly recommend your workshops to anyone looking for a productive and effective use of their time......You have truly come a long way-from taste testing pet food in the old days to driving that nice PORSCHE you have these days..Enjoy the west coast while you are out there.....
cya round Nashville next time
Tom

AMAZING workshop! I walked away with a wealth of new knowledge and had so much fun. Jason has a way to get all the info across in such and understandable way. Everyone in the class received a song critique as well. What a great weekend and time well spent. Also made some friends and future collaborators as well.

Jason is a teacher, not a songwriter.

Mr. Blume's website: "Jason Blume’s songs are on Grammy-nominated albums and have sold more than 50,000,000 copies. One of only a few writers to ever have songs on the pop, country, and R&B charts, all at the same time--his songs have been recorded by diverse artists including Britney Spears, the Gipsy Kings, the Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney, the Nashville Chamber Orchestra, Scandinavian star Christian Ingebrigtsen, Japanese superstar Tomohisa Yamashita, indie rockers “Escape from Earth,” and country stars including Collin Raye (5 cuts), the Oak Ridge Boys, and John Berry (“Change My Mind,” a top 5 single that earned a BMI “Million-Aire” Award for garnering more than one million airplays)." http://www.jasonblume.com/Discography_Bio.htmlThat seems to me as if Mr. Blume has written songs, which meets my definition of a songwriter: a person who has written songs.
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music

Jason is awesome. Great to see this post on JPF. I'm connected to him on Facebook and through WCS (West Coast Songwriters) -- there are many more workshops he runs than this one! I still need to get to one myself but am planning on it. L
