Phillip Martin is an artist who creates wonderful clipart and lets teachers use it for free. He has been doing this for a long time. In the last few years, he has been going to schools and community centers all over the world and helps the kids paint murals to help their lives be brighter. He doesn't charge for any of this and the man is not rich. Anyway, I LIKE him on Facebook and he had just completed some clipart for Tennessee (He is working on all the states per teachers' requests) and he recently posted this: Phillip Martin Clip Art shared a link. Friday My favorite song about Tennessee doesn't really have the name in the title. I've always been a fan of Smoky Mountain Rain. If that doesn't do it for you, well, with the Country Music Capital in Nashville, there is so much music to choose from. Maybe somebody, some day will write a song about my clip art. Never going to happen ... but you can see the latest at http://states.phillipmartin.info/tennessee/home.htmSoooo .... challenge monger that I am, I thought it would be fun and a beautiful gift for him if some of our wonderful JPF people put their thinking caps on and if they were so inclined could create a nice song about him and his clip art. If you visit his website, you will be able to find enough about him to put a nice little song or songs together. I posted this in the General Forum too! Anyway, he doesn't know about my idea, so he will be very pleased and surprised. It would be a nice Community Service sort of thing to do for such a caring, unselfish guy. What do you think? here is the link to his mural page http://www.phillipmartin.info/webpage/murals/homepage.htm and here is the list of his clipart http://www.phillipmartin.info/clipart/homepage2.htmIf you go to his Facebook Page, you will see all the grateful comments from teachers all over the world. I simply beg your pardon Who says that nothing’s free Have your heard of Phillip Martin Well there is apparently Yes Phillips’ quite the artist His talent well displayed The funny thing about it is He gives his art away His artwork’s on the Internet He’s busy as a bee His clip art there to download And all of it is free There’s pictures there of everything Don’t think you’ll come up short You’ll even have a choice or two Of what you’re looking for So if you search to find a print It won’t be very hard For everything is listed well His inventory large He sometimes uses colors soft But also colors bold And Phillip helps with murals too In countries round the globe So when you hear somebody say That nothing is for free They haven’t met a certain gent Who shares so selflessly!!

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
