When my son was in the pulmonary unit, we asked folks to "Take a Breath" for him!
People all over the world paused for a few moments in their day and took a deep cleansing breath and thought of my son and they sent us messages of what they experienced.
From across the globe, we heard about the aromas of coffee, grass, sea air and food and knew that those breaths were for our son.
SO NOW, please consider to take a minute in your day to think of Glynda and take a deep breath for her.
I WILL START:
Glynda, I thought of you today and breathed in the cool, damp New Hampshire air outside and the wonderful smell of bbq spareribs I made for dinner as I entered my home. Be well my friend, I am so honored to take a breath for you and hope yours come to you more easily soon.

What a beautiful thought Tammy.
Me and Helen have just taken some nice deep long breaths of London air, and though its not too sweet, they were special because our minds were focused on dear Glynda.
We have never met, but she is and has become a real special friend of ours.
God Bless Glynda from me and Helen

Glynda, I took a really deep breath for you. Smells like Cheese burgers!
I hope and pray that you recover fully and quickly Glynda.
Tammy, you are such a wonderful, thoughtful soul.

Thanks for your very thoughtful gesture, Tammy.
Glyn, this week I'm breathing the North Austin area air and thinking of you. My prayers on your behalf continue and all of us are looking forward to your posts here at JPF soon.

What a great idea, Tammy Just took a big breath of Lakeland air for you Glyn - a rain just passed through and cleaned the air out and cooled it down some - so it's a cool and sweet one. Scott

Glynda, I opened a can of coffee -- the Mexican espresso kind: Café Goya -- and inhaled deeply while thinking of you. That familiar earthy tone, with a hint of tartness in the back of the nose. Mmmmm... Just about to brew it now. Looking forward to you feeling better.

Glynda, The air is a little cold as I breathe in and a little warmer as I exhale. Let your faith overcome your fear. God bless you.

Glyn - The landscapers just mowed the lawn in the park across from my home. There's nothing like the sweet smell of freshly mowed grass. Hope you're body is mending as I write this.

Hi Glynda
I just took a deep long breath of my morning air as I looked out on the new snow in my woodland yard..... it looks beautiful -- I'm exhaling the healthy air all the way to Texas and your room.... it comes on the wings of a snowbird ----- look for her !

Hey Glyn,
Today, I smelt the fresh salt air as it came in across the ocean.
Whilst sitting with my young daughter and my wife, watching the waves come in, I gave thanks.
And to you also.......
cheers, Geoff

Hi Glynda
I just took an early morning, fresh, crisp breath of December air out of a brilliantly blue and cloudless sky as I watched a clump of tall, now brown and plumed Pampas Grass in my garden bend with the wind.
I hope that you can experience something similar soon.
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

Hi Glynda,
I breathed in a crisp New England air tonight and saw a full December moon lighting up the sky...soft clouds brushing in front of it, and an airplane blinking to its right. There was a steady sound from the vent of my clothes dryer, but it didn't drown out the peaceful, joyous feeling the moon gave me as I stood on my lawn...I hope you can see its light too...

Hi Glyn, I'm tucked in for the night typing from my laptop as I read these, and so my deep breath is filled with the happy familiar scent of my hubby's pillow... and I am thinking of you and your sweetheart on the exhale, and knowing, you have that 'pillow' of your own in your fond memories of him... and thinking of him watching over you and caring for you on his side of things, right by your side, maybe, even, holding your hand through it all. Praying for angels, along with his love and the love of God, to be watching over you, and that you feel our love and combined prayers surrounding you.
Thank you Tammy for this lovely idea. Love, Linda

I'd like to leave a message for everyone individually but I am very weak. So, I will leave one for everyone. It is so nice to hear all of your wishes and prayers. It is also nice to know that so many people I have never met except for on the board give me so much support and concern. I'm thankful to have Danny come up here and do this for me. I hate to be so short but it is hard to think when I can't breathe very well.
And I love each of you so much and thanks for being here for me.
Glyn
